'Burg' Zweigelt Reserve Winery R'A Pfaffl 2018

The Zweigelt Reserve Burggarten from the R&A Pfaffl winery is a red wine, with an intense ruby color, which is velvety and soft on the palate. It comes from the Zweigelt vineyards, located around the Kreuzenstein castle not far from Vienna and is part of the prestigious labels proposed by R&A Pfaffl, which have distinguished themselves for the many prestigious awards obtained. Thanks, certainly, to the favorable position, with a perfect terroir for viticulture. The harvest takes place in the traditional way by hand and the must is fermented in steel for about 21 days, after which it is aged in barrique for 18 months and finally bottled for marketing. The Zweigelt Reserve Burggarten wine is produced in purity from the Zweigelt vine, one of the lesser known, but which can be appreciated by connoisseurs who will recognize its undisputed qualities. In the glass it has a ruby color with light garnet nuances, almost dense, intense aroma of red fruit, dark cherries and black cherries. Very soft and velvety tannins on the palate, enveloping and with a long and persistent finish. Intriguing, everything to discover!
