It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
The Valtellina Superiore Ca' Fracia Valgella DOCG is a wine that is born in the Balgera di Chiuro cellar. The company is one of the oldest in the Valtellina area and still today, thanks to the great dedication of the owners, represents one of the most expressive realities. The grapes come from Nebbiolo vines grown on soils of sandy origin, located at 200-500 meters above sea level and favored by the continental climate of the region. After the manual harvest, following the selection of the best berries, the grapes are pressed and subjected to the fermentation process, with maceration on the skins for about 10 days. Maturation takes place for the first 2 years in oak barrels and for the following ones in smaller barrels. Before being put on the market, the wine needs to rest in the bottle for about 6 months. Valtellina Superiore Ca' Fracia Valgella DOCG is an elegant and structured wine, perfect for immediate drinking, but can evolve in the cellar for over 10 years.
