Cabernet Franc Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC is a wine produced at the Vigna Petrussa winery in Prepotto. The main feature of the company is that of giving life to bottles that are an authentic expression of the territory. The grapes come from Cabernet Franc vines, grown on land located 150 meters above sea level, rich in sandstone marls called ponka. The climate is a favorable element for the cultivation of the plant, as it is dry and with significant temperature variations. After the manual harvest, the best bunches are placed in crates and then subjected to fermentation through maceration in contact with the skins and alternating pumping over. The final phase involves the refinement of 2 years in wooden barrels. Cabernet Franc Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC is a robust and persistent wine, perfect for immediate drinking, but can evolve in the cellar for about 3 years.
