Cabernet Franc Toscana IGT is an elegant and intense red wine, made by Buondonno , a winery that represents the most innovative character of Castellina in Chianti viticulture. This wine is obtained from the single-variety vinification of Cabernet Franc grapes, a very fragrant and intense variety. Although not widely cultivated in the Chianti area, this grape variety achieves excellent results, thanks to the meticulous work carried out in the vineyard and the ideal conditions of the estate's plots. The organic certification is a further guarantee of the rigorous action of this winery, which can thus harvest excellent and healthy grapes. With a view to preserving the varietal notes of the grape, the winemaking phases are inspired by a minimalist philosophy, aimed at enhancing the aromas of the fruit and provide for the exclusive use of steel. Only for the aging period are wooden barrels used. Cabernet Franc Toscana IGT is a red with a good structure, which can evolve elegantly if left to rest in the cellar.
