'Cabernet Sauvignon' IGP Venezia Giulia La Tunella 2021

The Colli Orientali del Friuli Cabernet Sauvignon DOC wine from the prestigious La Tunella farm is a great red wine, the result of the vinification of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, from vineyards grown in the Ipplis and Cividale del Friuli areas, where the French vine is fully valued. The result is an excellent interpretation, which manages to perfectly blend the winemaking tradition of Friuli Venezia Giulia with the French one. After the harvest, carried out in the last week of September, when the grapes have reached an optimal degree of ripeness, the operations of disparatura and crushing follow, after which the must is fermented in steel in contact with the skins, therefore the Colli wine Orientali del Friuli Cabernet Sauvignon DOC is slowly matured in French oak barrels. The result is a particularly soft red, an elegant wine, with excellent structure and long persistence, for a gritty, pleasantly fresh and immediate sip label.
