'Cala Silente' Vermentino di Sardegna DOC Santadi 2021

The Vermentino di Sardegna Cala Silente from the prestigious Sardinian Santadi winery is a white wine of considerable interest, the result of the vinification of 100% Vermentino grapes, coming from vineyards grown in one of the oldest areas of Sardinia, the Sulcis which, with its millenary geology, gives the grapes, and therefore this label, its particular sapidity. This white wine with Denomination of Controlled Origin takes shape from the grapes harvested manually from the beginning of September until the first days of October. Once in the cellar, the bunches undergo a second selection, then the vinification in steel follows, after which the wine passes into cement tanks for refinement; the latter give the Cala Silente Vermentino di Sardegna its particular roundness. The final product is an aromatic white wine, soft and with a fresh sip. A very pleasant medium-structured wine, which has obtained various national and international awards, including the 4 bunches of the Bibenda Guide, which defined it as a wine of great level and outstanding value.
