Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass

Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description
Barolo Cannubi DOCG is a wine produced in the Marchesi di Barolo winery in the town of the same name. We are in the prestigious Langhe area and the company boasts a centuries-old tradition that has been handed down from father to son with great passion and a strong innovative spirit, producing only high quality bottles. The grapes come from the Nebbiolo vineyards grown on soils composed of clay, limestone and sand. Surrounded by lush hills, the plants enjoy a climate characterized by excessive ventilation which favors their completeness. After the harvest, the grapes undergo fermentation in thermo-conditioned tanks for a period of 10 days. Part of the wine is aged for 2 years in Slavonian oak barrels, while the rest in small French oak barrels. The wine completes its refinement in the bottle before being put on the market. Barolo Cannubi DOCG is an elegant and full-bodied wine, perfect for resting in the cellar for many years before being tasted.
