A wine with an important name, Capichera means caput erat, according to the etymology coming from the Latin language; an expression that translates with Italian was the capital. With this name the IGT Isola dei Nuraghi white wine was baptized, the undisputed symbol of the Capichera winery, which has its soul and body in the land of Sardinia, and more precisely in the magnificent territories of Gallura. On the wider national and international scene, Capichera is one of the best whites and has been an undisputed point of reference for years. Result of the processing of 100% Vermentino grapes, the first production of this wine dates back to 1980. Once the harvest has been carried out, the fermentation process, lasting one month, takes place in stainless steel tanks. This is followed by the maturation phase in barriques. The latter lasts for a period ranging from 4 to 6 months. The final product is a wine with full balance and enveloping notes. Its aging potential can vary from 15 to 25 years. A great and prestigious white wine.
