'Capitel Nicalò' Valpolicella Superiore DOC Tedeschi 2019

Capitel Nicalò Valpolicella Superiore DOC is a full-bodied red produced by the Veronese winery Tedeschi . To make this fine wine, the company focuses on a blend composed largely of Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella. Each of these vines is present respectively for 30%, while the remaining 10% comes from other dark berry varieties, permitted by the disciplinary. On the vineyards owned, the vines sink their roots into a substrate of red clay with a high presence of limestone. After the harvest, the grapes are dried on the appropriate wooden boxes. After a month, the grapes are de-stemmed and pressed. The fermentation in contact with the skins lasts two weeks and takes place in stainless steel tanks. The refinement closes the process with a passage of one year in oak barrels. Capitel Nicalò Valpolicella Superiore DOC is a red that can be opened with satisfaction immediately, or after 4-5 years of further rest.
