Carignano del Sulcis DOC 'Cardanera' Argiolas 2017

The Carignano del Sulcis DOC Cardanera is a still red wine signed by the Sardinian company Argiolas, which over the years has specialized in enhancing the vines that can best represent Sardinia. This red wine is obtained from the single-variety vinification of Carignano grapes, an autochthonous variety that faithfully describes the characteristics of this wine-growing region. After a careful harvest that aims to select only the best grapes, the production phase begins with a fermentation that takes place inside large steel tanks, essential for maintaining the freshness and liveliness of this wine. This is followed by an aging phase in cement tanks, once again to preserve the typical characteristics of this wine intact. The result is a red wine with an excellent structure, very frank and made intriguing by the particular savory notes that emerge upon tasting. The Carignano del Sulcis DOC Cardanera can be left to age for a maximum of five years and is perfect if enjoyed in a dinner with hearty land dishes.
