Description
Perfumed and aromatic, Carned Kerner DOC is a white made by the renowned Cantina di Caldaro , a company that interprets this designation with great class and in a way that is faithful to tradition. Kerner is considered an autochthonous vine, even if it is a botanical crossing from the beginning of the 20th century, in fact cultivated only in these areas and whose grapes are vinified alone to give life to a wine that envelops the senses with its varietal scents. The vineyards are between 10 and 30 years old and rise 700 meters above sea level, on sandy and clayey soil. Following a very meticulous work in the vineyard, in the cellar the grapes are first subjected to an articulated and slow fermentation. Half of the must is placed in oak barrels to start spontaneous fermentation. Subsequently, to allow the wine to maintain all its fresh minerality, the refinement takes place exclusively in steel vats, where the liquid remains for 5 months on the fine lees. It follows that Carned Kerner DOC is suitable to be consumed fresh and fragrant after bottling.
