Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description
Nero d'Avola 'Cartagho' Mandrarossa was born in Sicily, in the province of Agrigento in an area that has always been suited to the cult of the vine and traditions. Here, in the southernmost part of the Sicilian coast, sandy soils and a Mediterranean climate give rise to refined wines whose quality is protected with the denomination Sicilia DOC. The environmental conditions of these areas characterized by temperature ranges and the influence of the sea breeze are the main elements underlying the affirmation of Sicilian wine which, alongside classic grapes such as Grillo, Zibibbo and Nero d'Avola, successfully combines international vines such as Syrah, Chardonnay and Cabernet. Produced by the Mandrarossa winery, Nero d'Avola 'Cartagho' is a full-bodied red wine produced with 100% Nero d'Avola grapes from vineyards exposed towards the eastern and southernmost part of Sicily, in Contrada Torrenova. It is on these soils rich in pumice that this wine acquires all the characteristic Mediterranean aromas, presenting itself on the palate with excellent persistence and balance. Its vinification involves the use of steel tanks with subsequent maturation in barriques for about 12 months and is followed by an aging of a further 4 months in the bottle. The result is an elegant wine, with a long memory, the excellence of this land known to all as 'The island of wine'.
