Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass

Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

Longevity
This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

The Brunello di Montalcino Castelgiocondo red wine from the Marchesi de' Frescobaldi winery is made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes. There are no less than 30 generations who have alternated in the working of the vineyards in the Marchesi de' Frescobaldi winery which has always been oriented towards obsessive attention to the vine which, while guaranteeing basic yields, provides delicious grapes. Specifically, the vineyards are located on well-drained soils, rich in mineral salts and well exposed which ensure these results. The production cycle is scrupulously followed right from the harvest during which only the best and ripest bunches are selected. After fermentation, a phase of slow maturation in barriques and casks follows before final refinement in the bottle. The result is a wine of excellent structure and body, elegant and balanced, with slight tannic hints with delicate nuances of citrus and dried fruit. Simply unique for evenings with friends.
