Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

Description

This Terrano Riserva 2012 by Castello di Rubbia is a wine of body, intensity, vigor and history. The Carso Teran Riserva Doc of Castello di Rubbia comes from a dense Guyot system of 9,000 vines/ha. The yields are only 25 q/ha of grapes and it is grown in a biodynamic regime. The berries are dried on the plant, thus enriching themselves with polyphenols and anthocyanins. Fermentation is spontaneous and very rapid, with a short maceration of just one week. The product is decanted into Slavonian oak barrels where it ages for 18 months. The assembly takes place in steel and the wine is bottled without filtration . «Traditionally» says the producer «Teran did not reach 12 degrees due to the high yields. Therefore, despite today's viticultural protocols having radically changed, this nectar still has to deal with the stereotype of acid and hard wine, while in reality it is much more harmonious than in the past, long-lived and fresh in aromas».
