The Barolo Castiglione from the renowned Piedmontese winery Vietti is a red produced from grapes from vineyards scattered in the various municipalities of the Barolo DOCG denomination area. This label is the result of the vinification of pure Nebbiolo grapes, as per the disciplinary, coming from vines between 7 and 40 years of age. A terroir wine capable of perfectly describing the winemaking culture of Piedmont, for an excellent product that has obtained several national and international awards, including that of the prestigious Wine Spectator magazine, which defined it as an Excellent Wine. Barolo Castiglione is a red of great longevity, therefore it can rest in the cellar for many years. This label is the result of a red vinification, in which the different grapes are processed separately, after which each wine is left to mature individually for 30 months. The refinement takes place in large barrels and in barriques, finally before bottling the wines are assembled. The result is a prestigious, elegant and harmonious label. A fragrant red, rightly tannic, balanced and rich, for a wine that stands out for its extraordinary persistence.
