Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for light and medium-structured rosé wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description

Apollo Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo DOC is a rosé wine produced by the Teramo winery Ausonia . It is obtained from the exclusive vinification of Montepulciano grapes, a variety widespread in most of central Italy. The plots boast the presence of a clayey and calcareous substrate, which is ideal for the development of the berries. The vines are cultivated with the Guyot system, a method which enhances the beneficial effects of sun exposure. At the beginning of October the manual harvest takes place with selection of the best bunches in the vineyard. Once in the cellar, the grapes are left to macerate on the skins for 10 days. This is followed by alcoholic fermentation with malolactic fermentation, inside stainless steel tanks. The wine remains in the same containers until bottling which takes place one year after the harvest. Apollo Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo DOC is a rosé wine, excellent to be enjoyed immediately with great satisfaction, as well as after a couple of years of rest in the cellar.
