Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo DOC 'Villa Gemma' Masciarelli 2022

The Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Villa Gemma from the prestigious Abruzzo Masciarelli winery is a great rosé wine, the result of the vinification of 100% Montepulciano grapes from vineyards grown in the countryside of San Martino and San Marrucina. A label that perfectly embodies the Abruzzo tradition of producing rosés with the most widespread native vine in the area, Montepulciano. This wine from the Villa Gemma line is the expression of a continuous and meticulous stylistic research of the cellar. Following a harvest carried out in the first 15 days of October, the carefully selected grapes are destemmed and crushed, then fermented on the skins in steel, after which the Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Villa Gemma ages in the same containers for 5 months. The result is a rosé with a good structure, intense and rather lively, a delicately aromatic, fresh, elegant wine with a persistent finish. A successful label that has received several awards from national and international critics, including that of the prestigious magazine Wine Spectator.
