Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo DOC is a rosé wine made by the esteemed Villa Reale winery. The label is obtained from the vinification of only Montepulciano grapes, a red berried variety very common in the area. The owned vineyards rise about 350 meters above sea level. The substrate rich in gravel and stones and the south-east exposure create the optimal conditions for the luxuriant development of the vine. The vines are cultivated in line with biodynamic agriculture and in full harmony with the rhythms of nature. Once ripe, the bunches are selected and harvested by hand. In the cellar, the winemaking processes begin with the alcoholic fermentation on indigenous yeasts, which takes place in steel containers. When 30 days have passed, the refinement phase follows, which always takes place in steel and lasts 6 months. Perfect right from the start, Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo DOC can pleasantly surprise even after a couple of years of careful storage in the cellar.
