Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for light and medium-structured white wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description
Chardonnay Alto Adige DOC is a label from the Caldaro winery much loved by enthusiasts of this white grape variety (of French origin). On silty and calcareous soils, this variety finds the ideal conditions to reach the perfect degree of ripeness. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 350 metres, where "beneficial" breezes blow between the rows. The grapes are rigorously harvested and, when they reach the cellar, they are pressed in whole bunches. Subsequently, fermentation begins in steel tanks, which the winemaker carefully monitors to meet the highest quality standards. As regards the refinement phase, the production choice is aimed at preserving varietal freshness. That's why steel vats are preferred, where the wine remains on the lees for three months for aging. Excellent to be savored immediately, Chardonnay Alto Adige DOC can be carefully stored and enjoyed even after some time in the cellar. The nose is delicate, fruity, while the palate is apid, dry, full-bodied.
