Large Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for white wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile and this is possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description

The Südtirol Alto Adige DOC Flora Chardonnay is a commendable proposal from the historic South Tyrolean winery Girlan, famous for having been able to combine cutting-edge technologies with respect for the local winemaking tradition. This white wine comes from the single-variety vinification of Chardonnay grapes, fruit of 15-20 year old vines, grown at an altitude between 450 meters and 500 meters above sea level, on soils rich in minerals. The vineyard that rises on the hills of the Oltradige is located within an area classified as Alto Adige DOC. The label originates from grapes carefully selected by hand and placed in small containers. After harvesting, the bunches are transported to the cellar, where they first undergo a soft pressing, then a fermentation in French oak barrels. Subsequently, the Südtirol Alto Adige DOC Flora Chardonnay ages in wood for a year, after which it is bottled. Finally, the wine is further aged for 6 months in glass. The finished product is an elegant label with a soft mouthfeel. A balanced and enveloping white, which emerges for its long persistence. Fruity notes, typical of chardonnay, softened by a good acidity that guarantees elegance, freshness and ease of drinking.
