Chardonnay Province of Pavia IGP Monsupello 2021

The Province of Pavia PGI Chardonnay is a wine produced at the Monsupello di Torricella Verzate winery. It is a company with very ancient origins which represents one of the most important winemaking realities in Italy. The grapes come from the Chardonnay vines, grown on soils rich in limestone and clay exposed to the South/East and South/West and favored by the typical continental climate of Lombardy. The training system adopted is Guyot. After the manual harvest and the selection of the best bunches, the white vinification takes place, with the soft pressing of the grapes and the separation of the must from the marc, an operation useful for preserving the aromatic compounds of the vine. The juice obtained is subjected to fermentation in steel tanks and after a few rackings and protein stabilization, it is bottled and placed on the market. The Chardonnay Provincia di Pavia PGI is an intense and velvety wine, perfect for immediate drinking.
