Chardonnay Valle D'Aosta DOP Les Cretes 2022

The Chardonnay from the prestigious Les Crêtes winery in Aosta is an exceptional white wine, the result of the vinification of 100% Chardonnay grapes, the fruit of the Frissonnière and Les Crêtes vineyards. An international vine, Chardonnay, is grown in Val D'Aosta with excellent results. This prestigious label is made by the cellar in total respect of the millenary Aostan winemaking tradition. The one produced is therefore a terroir wine, an interesting white that has obtained several national and international awards, including the 4 Bibenda bunches. This label, created for the first time in 1991, comes from grapes harvested exclusively by hand in mid-September. The harvest is followed by soft pressing and fermentation in stainless steel tanks, after which the Chardonnay is aged on the lees for 1-2 months. The result is a soft wine, with a savory sip, an irrepressible, perfectly balanced white that emerges for its beautiful persistence. A label to buy.
