Chardonnay Venezia Giulia IGT Kante 2019

The Venezia Giulia IGT Chardonnay from the famous Kante farm is a sublime white wine, a synthesis of innovative methods, but at the same time strongly respectful of the winemaking tradition of the area. A high quality white, for a terroir wine that is part of the classic line of the cellar, the perfect standard-bearer of the enological peculiarities of the territory. The result of a vinification of 14-year-old Chardonnay grapes grown in the Karst area of Trieste, this white is excellent drunk now, but thanks to its good evolution, it is really interesting if left to rest in the cellar for a few years. After the harvest carried out in the first days of September, the carefully selected grapes follow a white vinification with fermentation in old wooden barriques, after which the Venezia Giulia IGT Chardonnay is left to mature in the same containers for a year. Finally it is stabilized in steel for 6 months, after which it is bottled without filtration. The result is an outstanding label that has won several awards. A rich wine that emerges for its aromatic complexity, a medium-bodied, fresh and particularly elegant white.
