Chassagne Montrachet Red 1er Cru 'Morgeot' Louis Latour 2019

The Chassagne Montrachet Rouge 1er Cru Morgeot red wine from the Louis Latour winery is obtained from the exclusive use of Pinot Noir grapes. The soils of Burgundy are rich in clay and marl, characteristics which, together with the particular microclimate, allow the vines to grow in optimal way and to produce fine grapes. This winery, with a long tradition, is a point of reference in the production of excellent wines, both white and red, and one of the few that manages to combine product quality with large production. A precise production cycle is followed to produce the Chassagne Montrachet Rouge 1er Cru Morgeot red wine. During the harvest, which takes place only when the grapes have reached full maturity, the bunches are selected. We then proceed with the alcoholic fermentation in open vats and the subsequent maturation in oak barrels, before aging in the bottle. Full-bodied red wine with good structure, the elegance of Pinot Noir is the master giving us a truly suggestive wine; it is ideal to accompany a dinner with friends.
