The Château des Laurets Baron Edmond de Rothschild is a noble red wine, as is the family that produces it. It is a wine that comes from the estates of Baron Benjamin Rothschild, 80 hectares between Puissegain Sant Emilion and Montagne Saint-Emilion, clayey-calcareous soils. We are in the most renowned and recognized area of Bordeaux worldwide. The Château des Laurets Baron Edmond de Rothschild is the result of the skilful art of blending different grapes, a typical Bordeaux tradition; in this case, the blend is made up of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. The Château des Laurets Baron Edmond de Rothschild is aged for about a year and a half in oak barrels and aged for a further year in the bottle. It is a powerful red wine, capable of supporting any type of combination, even the most demanding, without however overpowering the taste of the dishes. It is characterized by an intense purple-red color with violet reflections. The nose opens with elegant hints of raspberry, currant and cherry, enriched by pleasant spicy notes.
