Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

Description
Complex and intense, Châteauneuf Du Pape is undoubtedly one of the most loved wines in the French department of Vaucluse, where it originates. It comes to light from the expert hands of Michel Chapoutier: a man who, at just 26 years of age, was able to take over the reins of the family business by turning upside down the way of producing wine. And with excellent results, to say the least. This red comes from a multi-varietal blend: it is made up of 60% Grenache (with a high sugar content, it is the fourth most cultivated vine in the world), 25% Syrah (also very common) and 15% set of other varieties (mainly Mourvèdre). The cultivation takes place on clayey soils where the harvest takes place manually. This is followed by a fermentation at high temperatures and a maturation in wooden barrels for about 15 months. This Chateâuneuf Du Pape with AOC denomination (the equivalent of the Italian DOC), presenting itself with the label also written in Braille, confirms the idea of being a wine with an indescribable history, made up of attention and passion for the noble art of winemaking. In the glass, it is immediately fruity, with a nice roundness in the mouth and spicy notes that highlight soft and silky tannins. A remarkable balance, a refined, elegant but intense wine.
