Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass

Large Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 2-3 years.

Description

The Chianti Classico DOCG wine is an important Tuscan red produced by the Barberino Val D'Elsa Castello di Monsanto winery; a historic cellar that produces labels by combining the highest respect for the local winemaking tradition with technological innovation. The one in question is a red with a strong personality, which has obtained various international awards, including that of the prestigious American magazine Wine Spectator. Result of a blend of Sangiovese grapes (90%), Canaiolo and Colorino (10%), this label takes shape from carefully selected grapes from the vineyards considered most suitable for aging in large barrels. After the harvest, the selected bunches are transferred to the cellar, where they undergo an 18-day vinification process in steel. Subsequently, the Chianti Classico DOCG is aged for one year in Slavonian oak barrels. After which it is bottled. However, before being marketed, it is still aged in glass for 3 months. The final product is a red with a flowing sip. A dynamic, fresh and balanced wine, but with a strong personality, structure and evident but elegant tannins.
