Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG Fattoria del Cerro 2020

Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG is an intense and fragrant red wine, produced by the Tuscan winery Fattoria del Cerro . It is largely obtained from Sangiovese grapes, to which is added a percentage equal to 10% of Merlot grapes. Both the autochthonous and international varieties are grown on the estate's vineyards. The bunches come from five plots, distributed between Tuscany and Umbria. Once fully ripe, the grapes are selected in the vineyard before being transported to the cellar. Here they are fermented in stainless steel tanks with careful temperature monitoring. For the subsequent refinement phase, the company favors the use of oak barriques, where the wine ages for about three months before being bottled. Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG is excellent to be enjoyed immediately, even if it manages to reserve pleasant surprises after resting for a couple of years.
