Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description

From a careful selection of Sangiovese and Merlot grapes comes the organic Chianti Classico DOCG of Valvirginio . The well-known Tuscan cooperative winery has accustomed us to superlative interpretations of both international and native vines and this elegant and complex red is proof of that. The vineyards, located in the municipality of Montespertoli and its surroundings, have their roots in a variegated soil in which clay is one of the main protagonists. This characteristic, combined with a mild climate, but full of temperature variations, gives bunches with a deep color and typical varietal characteristics. In the cellar, the winemaking process is a skilful meeting point between quality, tradition and cutting-edge technologies. The wine ages for 15 months in oak barrels and rests for another three months in the bottle. The result pays off the wait: the organic Chianti Classico DOCG is a fresh and flowing red, with a good structure, medium and slightly velvety tannins. This wine lends itself to being drunk even when young, but evolves well even after a period of rest in the cellar.
