Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass

Large Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 2-3 years.

Description

Chianti DOCG is a wine that is produced at the Valvirginio di Montesportoli winery. The company is part of a cooperative founded in 1972 which produces only high quality labels, recognized and appreciated all over the world. The grapes come from the Cabernet, Canaiolo, Colorino, Malvasia Nera, Merlot and Sangiovese vines, grown on soils mainly rich in clay and favored by the typical mild climate of Tuscany. After the manual harvest, which takes place in October, the vinification is carried out using avant-garde techniques aimed at limiting contact with oxygen to a minimum in order to make the most of the aroma of the wine. Subsequently, we proceed with the maceration which can last up to 30 days, the final phase is that of refinement which takes place for 6 months in steel tanks and then in the bottle. Chianti DOCG is an intense and pleasant wine, which is well suited for immediate drinking, but can evolve in the cellar for at least 3 years.
