Description
Cipperimerlot Monsupello Riserva is a red wine that is produced only in the best vintages; its production began just over ten years ago. The Monsupello Merlot vineyards are located on the hills of Torricella Verzate, in the Oltrepò Pavese, one of the most suitable wine-growing areas in Lombardy. The grapes, 100% Merlot, are harvested during the second half of September; the wine subsequently spends more than a year of aging in the bottle; interesting to know that it was awarded the Due Bicchieri by the Gambero Rosso Guide. The Merlot vine is widespread all over the world due to the adaptability characteristic of these grapes, so much so that every year the "Merlot world championships" are held which reward the best wines produced from these grapes, coming from all over the world. Another important peculiarity of these grapes is, in addition to the ease of cultivation in different climates and territories, also the simplicity of pairing at the table, that is, it is a very versatile wine. In this case, the Cipperimerlot Monsupello Riserva is a full-bodied and structured wine, which adapts well to any important occasion and to a large number of meat dishes.
