The Gourmel Leopold distillery produces some of the best distillates in the world, using only the highest quality products and without the use of additives. This cognac is produced following the same philosophy. For its realization only grapes from the Premier Cru Grande Champagne are used, one of the major districts of France for the production of cognac. It is a vintage distillate, i.e. produced from the brandy of a single harvest, of a single year. Once distilled, the Cognac Carafe L de Gourmel Grande Champagne Exclusive Decanter is left to age in different wooden barrels: the refinement process can last even a few years, after which it is bottled and is immediately ready to be tasted. The final result is a rich, velvety and intensely aromatic cognac.
