Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
When it comes to Red Wine of Italy Cinquanta Collection from Cantina San Marzano , the mind travels quickly to Puglia, to the magical lands of Salento. About 60 years ago, from the idea of some winemakers, what is now one of the most renowned wineries in the region was born, with over 1200 affiliated members. In 2012, on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of the winery, the Cinquanta Collection was born. A soft, warm red wine with a strong and intense taste. Obtained from the union of the Negroamaro and Primitivo vines, the most cultivated in Puglia, in particular from old sapling-grown vines, it is pre-fermented and briefly cold macerated. Following fermentation, which takes place in steel, the Cinquanta Collection is aged in French oak barriques for 12 months. On the palate it is harmonious and we find plum, cherry, red fruits, with some hints of vanilla and licorice. It is purely a ready-to-drink wine, but interesting evolutions can be obtained by letting it rest in the cellar.
