Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

The Coonawarra Bin 128 Shiraz is a red wine of considerable depth, robust, intense and at the same time refined and elegant. It is one of the flagship products of the Australian winery Penfolds , which was originally involved in the production of brandy and sherry. The vine that gives rise to this wine is exclusively Shiraz, cultivated in the red and clayey soils of southern Australia, on the coasts of Limestone. The high temperatures allow the grapes to reach a slow and complete maturation, developing intense juices and delicate tannins. After the harvest, the grapes are taken to the cellar and subjected to the vinification process, which includes a period of fermentation in steel tanks, followed by a 12-month refinement in completely new French oak barrels. Thus was born the Coonawarra Bin 128 Shiraz , a red wine with a great personality, which recalls the terroir from which it comes in every sip. An excellent wine to be enjoyed just released on the market, but perfectly capable of developing greater body and an intense flavor, even if aged for many years.
