It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 2-3 years.

Description

With this wine, the company wants to return to the traditional blend of the Franciacorta area, i.e. Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Carménère rather than Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes come from 8 different vineyards and are harvested by hand, carefully selected and vinified according to the most modern and sophisticated oenological techniques to get the best out of the grape. This eliminates invasive systems to guarantee the best product. At the end of the vinification, the wine is decanted into small oak barrels. Only after malolactic fermentation, in the middle of winter, are the various lots transferred and blended. Thus was born the "Corte del Lupo Rosso", which continues its aging in wood and steel for about 21 months. The wine is then bottled by gravity, in a natural way. No addition of sulphites in this phase, guaranteeing integrity and wholesomeness. The result is a wine with a rich and intense body, with a dense and impenetrable ruby red colour. On the nose it is a concentrate of red fruit, with vanilla notes and a rich component of aromatic herbs, while the taste is full, intense and enveloping, with a well-integrated tannic texture.
