Recommended glass
Glass
Ballon flute
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for classic method sparkling wines (or champenoise) and champagne: being narrow, with a pointed bottom, it favors the development of bubbles (perlage), avoiding their dispersion; the body of this glass is a little wider than a classic flute and favors the perception of more intense and complex aromas.

Description
Creant Spumante Metodo Classico Mattia Vezzola is produced by the Costaripa winery. It is obtained from the single-variety vinification of Chardonnay grapes, an international vine that lends itself very well to sparkling wine also on the shores of Lake Garda. The thirty-year-old vines are cultivated with the Guyot system in the historic and most suitable vineyards among those owned by the company. The moraine substrate boasts the presence of gravel and limestone which ensure good drainage, while the southern exposure and the breezes blowing from the lake create a favorable environment. After the manual harvest in the cellar, a delicate pressing takes place, followed by a first fermentation at a controlled temperature. A third of the must is fermented in small oak barrels for 8 months. The lots are assembled for the refermentation in the bottle required by the Classic Method, during which the wine ages on its lees for 24 to 30 months. Creant Spumante Metodo Classico Mattia Vezzola can be appreciated immediately, or after 2-3 years.
