Custoza DOC The Vineyards of San Pietro 2020

Custoza DOC is a fresh and fragrant white wine produced by the Venetian winery Le Vigne di San Pietro . It is the fruit of a blend that includes several autochthonous white berried varieties. The blend includes Garganega, Trebbiano, Cortese, Trebbianello and white Manzoni. The vines are located on plots that boast a clayey and calcareous soil, with a good presence of minerals, which ensures correct nourishment. When September arrives, the bunches are harvested by hand to be taken to the cellar, where they are destemmed and then delicately pressed. The alcoholic fermentation is carefully monitored so that the temperatures do not exceed 10°C and continues for 16 days inside steel tanks. In the same containers the wine ages for the following 6 months, before resting for another 3 months in glass. Custoza DOC is a ready-to-drink white, to be enjoyed shortly after bottling when its freshness and fragrance fully emerge.
