Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect glass for light and medium-structured red wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description
The Dolcetto d'Alba DOC Dei Grassi from the prestigious Piedmontese farm Elio Grasso is a generous red wine, which is made with 100% Dolcetto grapes from 30-year-old vines. A typical wine that well reflects the regional winemaking art, for an interesting red produced from grapes of one of the most widespread native vines in all of Piedmont, even if its ideal area is that of the Langhe. Historically, Dolcetto, thanks to its productivity, has been a very important bargaining chip with Liguria, from which Piedmont had oil, anchovies and salt in exchange. A terroir red, which in 2016 was judged by the Robert Parker guide as an excellent wine. Dolcetto d'Alba DOC Dei Grassi is an essential wine that has made simplicity its strong point. The result of a fermentation in stainless steel tanks and an aging of a few months in the same containers, this label is presented as a straightforward red, rather satisfying, a rather flowing medium-bodied wine that emerges for its freshness.
