It is the perfect goblet for white wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile and this is possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description

Desaja Roero Arneis DOCG is an elegant white wine produced by Cascina Fornace , which with this label intends to fully enhance one of the most identifying vines of Roero. The Arneis grapes, destined to be vinified alone, are grown organically in the Santo Stefano area. Here are the vineyards owned by the company, which have an average age of thirty years. With an altitude of 350 meters and mainly sandy substrates, the vines enjoy the ideal conditions for luxuriant growth. Once the careful harvest has been completed, the vinification begins in the cellar with a spontaneous alcoholic fermentation. This phase involves the use of cement vats and a three-day maceration on the skins at a controlled temperature. The refinement, which is divided between cement tanks (60%) and large oak barrels (40%), lasts for ten months. Desaja Roero Arneis DOCG is a perfect wine to be enjoyed immediately or after resting for 3 years in the cellar.
