'Worthy' Isola dei Nuraghi IGT Depperu 2022

Dignu Isola dei Nuraghi IGT is a fragrant white wine from the Gallura winery Depperu , which with this label demonstrates the desire to rediscover the historical roots of local enology. This white is obtained from the vinification of Nebbiolo grapes, a variety that arrived on the island during the Savoy reign. On the slopes of Monte Limbara, the vine has long since found the ideal conditions to thrive, thanks to the sandy and granite soils. The owned plots are cultivated using the traditional sapling system, which allows the vines to be sheltered from gusts of wind. Once the manual harvest has been completed, the bunches arrive in the cellar for the vinification in white. After pressing, the alcoholic fermentation involves the use of selected yeasts. In the same tanks the wine ages for a few months. Dignu Isola dei Nuraghi IGT can be appreciated already after bottling, as well as after a couple of years of rest.
