Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect glass for light and medium-structured red wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description

Dolcetto d'Alba DOC Roussot is a red wine from the renowned Piedmontese winery Francesco Rinaldi & Figli . It is obtained from the exclusive vinification of grapes from the native Dolcetto vine, a less celebrated variety than Nebbiolo, yet equally representative of the Langhe. Within the vineyards owned by the winery, the vines benefit enormously from the soils with high percentages of limestone. The accurate work between the rows culminates with a harvest that includes a meticulous selection of the bunches. Vinification begins with maceration in contact with the skins, which takes place inside stainless steel tanks at low temperatures. Then follows the malolactic fermentation and the refinement of about six months, always in steel tanks. The choice of these containers allows to enhance the freshness and the varietal notes. The result is a ready-to-drink red, even if Dolcetto d'Alba DOC Roussot can evolve for a maximum of another three years, if well stored.
