Dry Gin Black Scapegrace is a gin full of surprises. It certainly represents one of the flagships of the Scapegrace distillery, which is based near Auckland, in wild New Zealand, and which was created by two gin enthusiasts. A company born out of a real passion and which has quickly become surprising for the products it puts on the market, albeit in limited quantities to preserve their quality. The first thing that surprises about Dry Gin Black Scapegrace is its unusual black colour, which takes on purplish hues when added to a cocktail. The color is 100% natural and derives from the different plants used for its production, including chokeberry, saffron, pineapple and potato. For the production of this gin a nineteenth century copper alembic is used, which guarantees a very high quality of the distillates produced. Furthermore, the freshness and energy of this dark gin is also given by the use of the best crystalline waters from the New Zealand mountains. A concentrate of nature that transforms into an original, fresh and slightly spiced gin.
