'Er Giancu' Bianco May 2022

Er Giancu Bianco is a mineral white wine produced by the Ligurian winery Possa . The label is the result of a blend that includes two native white berried varieties, namely Bosco and Albarola. The forty-year-old vines sink their roots into the soil made up of sandstone gravel, finding the ideal conditions for a luxuriant development, also thanks to the low pergola cultivation system. Once fully ripe, the bunches are selected and harvested by hand. In the cellar, the grapes are gently pressed and then left to ferment spontaneously with maceration on the skins for about three weeks. Even the refinement involves the use of steel tanks, where the wine rests for a few months before bottling without filtration. Er Giancu Bianco is a wine that can be appreciated immediately, as well as after a couple of years of further evolution in the cellar.
