'Essence Saten' Franciacorta DOCG Saten Brut Antica Fratta 2019

Essence Saten Brut Franciacorta DOCG is a very elegant sparkling wine characterized by exotic nuances. The manufacturing company is the historic Antica Fratta winery , located in the town of Monticelli Brusati, whose foundation dates back to the mid-nineteenth century. It is made with 100% Chardonnay, a vine grown on calcareous-clayey soils of morainic origin with an abundant skeleton. The harvest takes place between mid-August and early September, when the grapes have reached the right ripeness, without having lost acidity or freshness. After the maceration operations, the wine is refermented in the bottle, with aging on the lees for at least 24 months, according to the Franciacorta DOCG disciplinary. Essence Saten Brut is an intense and enveloping sparkling wine ready to drink immediately, however its complex structure allows it to rest in the cellar for a few more years, in order to further develop its aromatic bouquet.
