Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for light and medium-structured rosé wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description

Rosato Etna DOC is a wine produced by the Benanti company, which stands out for a concept of heroic viticulture and strongly linked to the unique territory of Etna. It is obtained from the single-variety vinification of Nerello Mascalese grapes, an autochthonous vine that expresses itself at excellent levels thanks to the meticulous work in the vineyard. The grapes are grown on the slopes of the volcano, where they benefit immensely from the mineral-rich substrate. Precisely for this reason, the choice of the company is to be inspired by a minimalist production philosophy, which allows the grapes to express themselves in all their authenticity. This is why, once the bunches have been harvested, all the stages of vinification take place exclusively in steel. The grapes are left to macerate with brief contact on the skins and the must is left to refine in large stainless steel containers. The result is a Rosato Etna DOC that stands out for its freshness and minerality: by virtue of these characteristics it is advisable to taste it as soon as it is bottled.
