Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

The Etna Rosso Riserva Contrada Zottorinoto wine from the Cottanera winery represents one of the most interesting products of local wine production. The vineyards are located at an average altitude of about 700 meters on a soil characterized by a lava rock bottom and, thanks also to the help of a very mild climate, the grapes ripen perfectly. Nerello Mascalese grapes are used exclusively for the production of this wine. The production technique of the Etna Rosso Riserva Contrada Zottorinoto wine provides for a precise disciplinary that begins with a harvest done by hand, in order to select only the best bunches. Using traditional production methods, after a short maceration we move on to fermentation which is then followed by a period of aging in large wooden barrels for at least 24 months. The result is a wine with excellent structure, excellent body and good drinkability.
