Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 2-3 years.

Description

The Botte 9 Alto Adige Schiava DOC red wine from the Girlan winery is one of the products that best expresses the winery's winemaking tradition. It is produced exclusively with Schiava grapes, grown on morainic and gravelly soils at an average altitude of 400 metres; thanks also to the favorable climatic conditions, excellent quality grapes are obtained. By combining artisan production methods and cutting-edge technologies, an elegant wine is obtained, perfect for any occasion. To obtain the Botte 9 Alto Adige Schiava DOC red wine, only the ripe bunches from vineyards with an average age of 30 years are rigorously selected by hand, which are then placed in small crates for transport. The malolactic fermentation then begins in stainless steel containers and is then aged in large oak barrels for a period of no less than 5 months. The delicate character of Schiava and the remarkable concentration of velvety tannins make this wine a truly special nectar. It is a red wine for the whole meal, it is recommended with game, roast meat and cheese.
