'Favorosa' Langhe Favorita DOC La Biòca 2016

This wine comes from an autochthonous grape that is very little considered, but with high potential: favourability. Since to make a great wine, great grapes are needed, at Bioca they have chosen an ancient vineyard with very low yields and concentrated grapes and finally all their skill as oenologists. They called the wine “Favorosa”. This grape variety corresponds to the vermentino of Sardinia, Liguria and Tuscany, and to the rolle of Provence. Left to mature partly in steel and partly in American oak barriques, it offers those typical features of the grape, to then strike with elegant nuances given by the refinement. It is a white from the Langhe (not so common, given the land of reds) very versatile and eclectic at the table, but also pleasant between meals. Excellent.
