Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Ballon flute
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for classic method sparkling wines (or champenoise) and champagne: being narrow, with a pointed bottom, it favors the development of bubbles (perlage), avoiding their dispersion; the body of this glass is a little wider than a classic flute and favors the perception of more intense and complex aromas.

Description
Federico II Classic Method Brut Millesimato is produced by the Sicilian winery Milazzo . The label is obtained from the single-variety vinification of only grapes of the international Chardonnay variety, which are cultivated with the tendon and Guyot system. The plots are located on a plateau of marl origin which boasts a substrate with good percentages of clay and limestone. At the beginning of August the grapes reach the ideal level of ripeness on average and are selected and harvested manually for transport to the cellar. Here the pressing of the whole bunches takes place, followed by fermentation at carefully monitored temperatures. In line with the provisions of the Champenoise Method, the second fermentation in the bottle allows the wine to age on the lees for a minimum period of 6 years. At the disgorgement a small quantity of dosing syrup is added. Perfect from the start, Federico II Metodo Classico Brut Millesimato can give pleasant surprises even after a further 4-5 year rest in the cellar.
