Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for light and medium-structured white wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description
Fiano di Avellino DOCG is a fresh and savory white wine, which exemplifies the ability of the Ciro Picariello cellar to enhance the territory. The label is the result of the pure vinification of Fiano grapes, a white grape variety known since ancient times. The owned plots are located in the area between Summonte and Montefredane. Here the twenty-year-old vines sink their roots into a substrate characterized by a unique mineral composition. Once they have reached maturity, the bunches are subjected to manual sorting before being transported to the cellar. The vinification involves spontaneous fermentation in large steel tanks at a controlled temperature. In the same containers the wine remains for about a year on its lees, to then complete the refinement with a 6-month passage in the bottle. Perfect right from the start, Fiano di Avellino DOCG can also be appreciated after a couple of years of careful rest in the cellar.
